Rezumat/Abstract. The industrial city of Annaba suffers from pollution enormously. It has negatively affected the health of those inhabitants who have problems especially respiratory. We then asked ourselves questions on the various sources of pollution and the means of fighting against them. After investigation, we have found the sources of pollution that are the atmospheric pollution, the industry, the car traffic, the public landfill, the high voltage, the wastewater and the acoustic pollution. To fight against pollution, the city must have a center for satellite management of natural hazards, technological risks and risks due to human activities. It is also necessary to mobilize all actors involved in the field, to raise awareness of the inhabitants and to respect international regulations and national legislation.
