Rezumat/Abstract. Diagnostic analysis is a tool used especially in strategic management. Diagnostic analysis of the construction sector is focused on: value of construction works by manner of performing and by type of ownership; new construction works; capital repair works; current maintenance and repair works; construction under contract by category of objects and construction under own management; situation of construction firms; human resources analysis.
