Rezumat/Abstract. Anghel Saligny was a remarcable engineer, world wide predecessor of metal building science and reinforced concrete, creator of multiple inventions and of unique solutions in designing and building bridges, industrial constructions, for the foundation of port piers and docks, as well as grain silos through the use of precast concrete, all of these in world premiere.
