Rezumat/Abstract. Lino Bianco’s career as an architect, academic and diplomat is not much reviewed. This article gives a background of his work mostly in architecture practice and theory especially on this philosophy of architecture. It is based on publications and on the first-hand knowledge of the author on Bianco which extends over 10 years. The article includes concluding remarks which looks at the future.
